It is about 33w per sq ft. General rule is a 1000w for a 4x4 (16 sq ft) which is 62.5w per sq ft. I would try to keep to that as close as possible. Its about 50w/sq ft minimum with HPS.
Well to give yourself ample space to work with the plants you could always make a 1.25x3.5 meter canopy in the center of the room with a .85 meter walkway on either side. Highly unlikely you would want a wall to wall cannopy.
