7 weeks into flower and I killed all fan leaves

day 46 and I lost all the fan leaves over the last 10 days. They yellowed up and died. I cut them off as they died and the plant looks like sticks with buds now. Probably let the nutes get too high as I don't have a ppm meter. I have been feeding them straight pH'd water since the leaves started dying. Anyways the buds look decent with only some leaf burn to the larger bud leaves. Trichromes are 50:50 clear and milky. The plant now only drinks about 1/5th what is did before I f'd up the grow. Buds are still thickening, but very slowly. My question is - how bad did I F%$## things up? Will the buds still mature with no fan leaves.

sounds like a bad case of heatstress. make sure you've got good ventalation and a fan blowing on the tops of your plants for the rest of the grow. and you should have some good bud at the end.

If anything it got too cold. I have great ventilation, but we hit a cold snap and it did get pretty cold at night. I just want to know if the buds will still mature. I don't care if they don't get any bigger. I just hope they make it to maturity.

Depending on what strain you have it can be ready for hearvest in 8 to 10 weeks your plants are normal. They burn up the remaining nitrogen in the plant turning the leaves yellow. Don't pull them off til you cut it down, it's still using whatever nutes are in the leaves til they fall off. Don't give them nitrogen and start to flush them when the crystals are cloudy.

I did wait until the leaves turned crispy until cutting them off. So It could be a normal thing that they they have died? I will continue to let them mature until amber trichs appear.

it is normal for the lower leaves and the fan leaves to die before the plant is ready for harvest.
