70w metal halide floodlight? Help!!

I recently bought a 70w mh floodlight. I already have 2 4ft fluorescents @ 3600 lumens each over the top and I put the mh at an angle to the side. I have two plants, should I use more light or should this do? I could really use the help.

The general rule of thumb is the more light, the better...........so thats all up to you...

however 70+w is more than enough to grow a plant if thats what youre asking.
