This is my first opportunity for a serious grow..and first legal grow!

7'x14'x7' basement (all load bearing concrete walls/joists)
2x 1000W HPS/MH (Debatable)
Coco Coir
10x 5 gallon smartpot (size/quantity debatable) I don't have clones or feminized seeds so I was thinking about starting with more
The room has one door and one small basement window (hinged) opposite each other on the 7' wall.
I plan to exhaust out the window making use of a baffled window box (ISO tutorial!)
Air intake is still up in the air but my best option may be to go straight through the door and pull air from the larger part of the basement.
I plan to reduce room to at least 7'x10' but in search of ways to do this. Is hanging pandfilm from the joists to the floor sufficient enough or should i put up some sort of walls. I am aware that 1000w have a max reach of 5'x5' (or two at 5'x10'). Should i leave surrounding space for oscillating fans/dehumidifier/maintenance space?
