I am starting a grow in about a month and have a list of supplies that I would like to run through with an experienced grower before I start. I have a couple simulated pics of my room. I tried to go halfway cheap. My list is as follows:
1. 400 watt hps with grow bulb : $124
2. Four two bulb 4' T5's (6400k bulbs in all fixtures) : $200
3. Sunleaves DuraPump Air : $40
4. Ten 4" airstones : $13
5. 100 feet by 50 inch roll of MYLAR - 2 mil : $33
6. 5 fourteen gallon roughnecks : $40
7. 20 3.75" net pots : $11
8. 20 liters of hydroton : $24
9. 20ft air tubing : $4
10. 1/4" t connectors : $1
11. Botanicare pro grow, pro bloom and sweet citrus : $60
12. 20 seeds. Amsterdam Seed co. Northern Lights : $120
Total price : $670
I will be running a bubbleponics system. Five roughnecks with four pots each. I want to run two 4" air stones per bin. My pump pushes 600 gallons of air per hour. Do you think this will this be sufficient?
I will veg 24 hrs for the first 30 days, 18/6 for 30 days, then 8/16 for 30 days. All 90 days i will be running 8 T5's and the 400 watt hps. I would like to top twice. Input and opinions would be much appreciated. And almost forgot to say, the closet is 6' x 6'...and every surface inside the room will be completely be covered in mylar. The one thing i have not decided on is my ventilation situation. I dont know weather i want to run a can fan or use co2 and just open my closet a few times a day. As i said before input would be greatly appreciated. Peace n puff
