I'm almost 10 weeks into flowering now. 150 watt Enviro CFL with the wing reflector... Nugs have turned about 30-40% orange pistils I'd say, mostly underlying older ones & 60-70% still fresh white pistils... under microscope inspections the trichs appear around 50/50 clear & cloudy... maybe a tad bit more cloudy now... but I don't think I've seen any amber trichs yet, I'm going for atleast a few, if I see at least 5-10% amber & the rest are cloudy, I'll chop due to impatience, plus that sounds like a pretty good high to me. I also want to chop just the top main cola & the second node under it & let the rest of the nodes finish for another week or so afterward, anyone suggest this or think it's a bad idea? It's currently got a pretty bad mag/cal deficiency which may be slowing growth & it maaay appear to be turning hermie, would any of this cause me to cut it now? I cut off a sample nug yesterday & attempted to quick dry it in the microwave & oven, it shrunk much more than expected & prob wasnt enough to get me high even if it were real dank because my tolerance is so bad right now, but if I'm not mistaken, I did feel a bit of a buzz off of it, if it matters. I'm just looking for advice on whether to harvest the top & let the bottom finish longer or not & estimated guesses on how much longer to let her go? thanks a bunch!
