..although that could be the beginning line of some joke, as the hours of darkness close in I thought I'd see how little wattage I could get away with. What we have here is a single mother tent (approx. 19"x39") with seven matured dwarfed mothers (approx. 12 inches in height), plus two 'on their way to being' dwarfed mothers ..and space for a glass with cuttings in it The light is set for 16.5 hrs only (only get 16.8 hrs of light, at max, during the year anyways). They will get supplemental sunlight from time to time and I'll rotated them in the tent from time to time too. I'll up the light hrs, as well as the bulb watts to 85, when I want plants to shoot out some nice cuttings. They've been under 65watts for a week (acclimatising, if you will). Actually surprised they look so green. Wondered if I could get away with a low tech set up like this (limited light coverage etc). It seems these dwarf's (like their eating habits) need little wattage to be happy. And the cuttings grow just fine as standard plants
Total power usage for the tent is 79 watts, running 16.5 hrs a day (bulb and one 4" extractor fan). I have a 14watt clip-on fan in the tent, but haven't bothered using it yet.
It's not pretty, 'compact and bijou' if you will
