The T5 is hanging in 2'x6' closet of soon to be veg room at 24 hours light with clones in solo cups and 2 gallon pots. I plan on continuously cloning and need advice on whether both lights should be used together at 16 hours light under the 9' x 9' ceiling or only the 600 watt at 16 hours and keep clones separate in closet under T5 at 24 hours. I will be starting the veg room setup tomorrow, I have 2 oscillating fans, window ac unit if needed , and carbon filter on its way!

Depends how full it gets, a 600 wouldnt cover a 9x9 if it was packed full. I would start with the 600 dimmed to 400, turn it up as plants get bigger. Then move t5 lights over to veg area when veg get really full and just set you clones off to the side, they do just fine with indirect light, you may need something with a dome for clones when you put them in your veg depending on your relative humidity.
