I'm a current med grower in WA with a few grows under my belt. I'll be applying for my combined producer/processor license in September. While I was originally thinking about a single veg chamber and dual flower rooms, lately I find myself thinking about going with something a little different. The grow will go something like this; 10 cuttings go in cubes to root for a week under T5s set to 19/5. After 7 days, 7 strongest rooters are selected and the rest destroyed. The 7 rooters go into solo cups where they remain for 2 weeks under a 400w MH set to 18/6, while filling in the cup with a good root mass. They are then transplanted into their final containers, the 7 gallon equivalent air pots and moved to a room for the next week to spend 17/7 under a 600w MH. The last week of veg is spent under a dimmed 1000w for 16/8, before the move to the 9 week flowering chamber (cuttings are taken at this time to perpetuate the process). Here the ladies will be subjected to a total of 10kw of HPS. They begin flower on one end of the room and as each new set comes in each week, they move one ahead. When it's time to harvest, an environmentally controlled drying room will be just thru the door where all I have to do is chop and hang. Now the rest of the process is a trade secret, but I hear it can be found in a sticky on this site somewhere! The grow room pattern flows in sort of a "U" shape, with clones being on the upper left and harvest on the upper right. Takes about 800 square feet, and done correctly, should keep me under federal sentencing limits. But we all have faith that a certain politician is going to hold true to his word and leave those who diligently follow state laws alone. We'll all know the answer to this one soon! What do you guys think?
