Sure you can, but keep in mind - a plant will only grow so fast. I'm thinking 3K will do the job very nicely.

MAX wattage would be 11x9=99 ft² x 70W/ft²= 7000W. If you aren't ready to keep that cool, don't try it.

Since I'm the guy who tried to do more with less, I run about a third of this amount- but I use better quality lighting than HPS.

What type lighting I want to grow big nice yields with quality but practically possible with my room size I hope I can cool 4000 watts with 24,000 btu ac

Then don't run over 4kW. Running more lighting than you can effectively cool is a fool's errand- and I'm the fool who proved it, lol

I'm all new to this as well besides researching this through out the years thinking about doing it . Yall can follow my progress i will update all. I'm gonna try dwc big Rez with about 12 5gal buckets starting off with feminized seeds in Farmington dome w/ heat mat

I don't like DWC, it's too prone to random root rot issues.

Don't bother with a heat mat in the summer.

Experienced growers hate feminized seeds, although I'm not sure why; I'm clone only.

FemiNized go a lot hermie I heard. Good point on heat mat it being summer. What is a safe fast hydro method for my size room to get good yield ?

Awesome so 4000 watts is perfect ? Long as I can vent and cool it? I have 1100 cfm exhaust running duct from tube lights ac all exhaust pulled and pushed out room

There is a formula to get your "cfm's" need for proper air exchange in relation to your grow space- One should "replace" grow room are every 5 minutes or so. Sounds like you have the correct watts ? The formulas I mentioned are a good rule of thumb and are used by comerical cultivators

everyone has different opinions...find out what works for you. i like to exchange the air in my room 2 times per minute.

whats the height of your room? 9 x 11 x 8' high is 792 cf.....now, what exchange rate do you want to go with??? i would suggest at the minimum an 8" fan, a 10" or 12" would be my choice.

The cfm goes by room size only not dependent on how much heat or anything? I put some manual gates in my duct work to
Shut down air flow if needed. My exhaust is a residential squirrel cage out of an indoor air handler system on low 1100 cfm
