A bit red stems ?

i notice a light reddish purple hue to some stems otherwise the plants seem to be taking off and developing .. well quite honestly they look perfect besides this.. and if it isnt a problem id say are perfect.. dont mind it looks pretty just want to make sure its not due to too close to lighting ( no burning) or like a nutrient deficiency or something.. i read somewhere since it is mainly just the very top ones.. and i do put em out in the summer sun between noon and 6pm.. that the plants may be activating their uv protection.. like skin sunglasses..tanning lotion.. anyways anyone that can let me know thank you.. tried to take pics of it.. a bit tough under the already purple hued light though lol .. thank you guys ! as far as i know, red/purple stems can be genetic, but it can also be a sign of a handful of other things. I usually dont pay much attention to stem color unless i see other issues/discoloration.

Your light choice highlights things that look worse than may be going on.

I appreciate that advice ill try to take pics in future during daytime.. the color actually receded.. its almost midnight .. i found out through some research it actually was the plants uv protection defence mechanism probably.. i had them outside from 11am to 6pm.. and it was sunny, humid, and 93 F outside today amazing little mechanism ...

yeah, that light doesn't make it easy to see, but lots of strains have colorful stems. I was recently gifted some seeds that have purplely brown coloring on the under side of the first two leaves of every sprout... it's pretty cool really, and the majority have purple stripes throughout the stems as they get bigger. a while back I had a pinesoul X from Bodhi that had a bunch of red in stem... here's a pic, but the girl was thirsty...

red petioles and red streaks on stems is a normal genetic trait of many strains. dark red/purple petioles can also be a sign of Mg deficiency or low pH, and would be accompanied by interveinal chlorosis and a sad looking plant. without other problems, red petioles or streaks on stems like those in your pictures are not something to worry about.
