A Couple of Fan Questions

ive just got 4 fans acoustic mdf 1
what are the 3 holes for i know 1s intake 1s outake but why is there another 1
also they are all 10" but 1s a 1500 and 3 are 3250
just wondering why there different sizes but the same size in holes

He is wondering why there are 3 holes in the fan as opposed to the usual 2 holes ( one intake hole and one outtake hole). This one has an extra hole for side take or something lol
