a couple of grow questions

hey ive got 2 questions,

im doing my first grow and its flowering well
i am using miracle grow all purpose powder plant food as feed but was wondering could i use tomorite tomato liquid feed, the n-p-k for the miracle grow is 24-8-16, for the tomorite it is
4-4.5-8. which is better for me to use?

my second question is about my next grow for just after xmas, i am growing in a walk in wardrobe 120cm x 50cm x 200cm and am stuck between a hid and a flouro, i cant vent the cupboard so i thought if i were to use a hid i would have to put up a wooden partition (as i am only growing in about half the length of the cupboard) and have computer fans drawing the air out of the grow partition. (how can i wire a cpu fan to work with standard UK plug?).

also what kind of reflector should i use if i were to use a hid, open ended or cool tube?

let me know your thoughts any help much apreciated

neither of those nutes is really good for flowering but the second one would prob be the better of the 2, if you can't vent your area i would go with the flouros in the closet

~Those nutrients are not that great. Get something else for your next grow. Anything with a 2 part nutrient system would be good. Then always reduce your feeding amounts to 1/2 of what they recommend on the bottle.

~HID lighting is better hands down. The down side is you need to cool them. Cool-tube is your best bet but you must have fresh air to intake and a way to exhaust it away from the grow area. If your ventilation stinks use flouros. You might want to look at some cabinet/closet builds on here and get ideas about how you might better ventilate your space.

~you can wire DC computer fans to any 12v/9v dc charging adapter. Each charging adapter will have input v and output v just dont go over what your fans can handle. Look at how many amps the charger can supply and then how many amps the fan uses and you can find out how many fans you can put on one charger.

As chopper already said neither food is best for flowering especially the MG because of the high N value , when flowering a food with a higher P and K ratio is preferred ,N is mostly for vegging but some is still needed thru flowering ,the tomato food would probably be better and you could add some other supplement food like molasses or a booster

i will use better nutes next time but im not spending any money on this grow. have thought of flouros but thought if i partitioned of the closet n opened the door of the non-grow partition and extraction into there then itll work? thx for replies

also how many lumens do these give:

250w blue/red cfl
250w hps/mh
400w hps/mh

?
