A few questions about Cheese Quake

Hey everyone. I just popped 10 CQ beans, and I can't wait to see how they do!!! I'm pretty sure I've read most of what's been written about CQ here on Rollitup, but I still have a few questions. Maybe someone can help me out.

-How is the 12/12 stretch with CQ? Right now I have Pandoras Box growing, and it nearly tripled in height, despite reports that it "barely stretched at all". I'm really stoked on how they look and smell, it just got a bit overgrown in the cab.

-Is there any consensus on how much Super Soil to add? Some say none, some say 50%, I believe Sub said 1/3. What did you use, and how did it work?

Thanks in advance! Look for my CQ grow log to pop up any day now.

Can't help you with the SS question, but as far as stretch goes mine weren't too bad. I guess it depends on the pheno. I got 3 females out of a 5-pack, and two were noticeably bigger/taller than the other. The smallest of the bunch had the most pronounced cheese smell to it (smells like beef stew now that it's curing). The other two that were bigger/taller plants stretched maybe double the height from when I flipped them to 12/12.

I wouldn't consider these stretchy plants at all, but they are VERY healthy vigorous plants that have a HUGE appetite! These 3 plants consumed more water than anything else in my garden, and they handled feedings of up to 2.0 EC with ease ..... so based upon that, I would assume that you would want to use a pretty generous ratio of super soil.

The end product is some ROCK Hard nugs! Great yield, very potent, very sticky, easy to trim ..... really a nice all around plant!

Sounds like you were in my garden dude......I had almost identical results as you....with my smallest being the cheesiest and best yield.

As far as stretch goes my keeper pheno stretched the most and then filled in nicely. I love Cheese Quake, it's great medicine.

Cool story: My girl friend who doesnt smoke tried a bit when she was complaining of stomach pains and cramps....she had a few tokes and immediately she admitted that it helped her discomfort......which she thought was pretty cool. She remarked that she loved the lavendar taste......She tells me...man that stuff really is healing but I'd rather have it in a tincture because she doesn't like that it so potent....that will be my next project.

Just be careful with the supersoil/nutes... didn't sub say that if you do get one of the nute sensitive ones that they can throw nanners if you give'm too much super soil/nutes?

Yikes... That does ring a bell... I will err on the side of caution. I have extra super soil I can top dress with if needed. Or just some guanos...

Yeah I'm just going light the first round and monitoring... can always up nute levels for the cutting... so far I don't really appear to have any sensitivity issues but not in flower yet... hoping for the best :)

From what I've read, if you're gonna have issues, they will show up in veg. I remember Sub saying that they actually get quite hungry in flower.
