My main worry is balancing fan noise and heat. It's a 3'x4'x7.5' closet with a 600W Digital HPS. The intake holes would be pulling in 72 degree air. The exhaust would be routed outside.
I can't have any noise at all coming from the closet. How can I do this and still have decent ventilation? I've watched a few YouTube videos of these fans and they seem ridiculously loud... pretty much as loud as a bathroom fan.
I've read about a few ways to quiet things down, such as:
Will a combination of these things make it quiet enough that I won't hear it when the door is closed?
Thanks

I've read about a few ways to quiet things down, such as:
- Insulated ducting
- A box wrapped in Dynamat built around the fan (Heat hazard?)
- Hanging the fan from bungee cords
- Duct muffler (Can't see this working too well since I'll be venting outside. Outside noise is OK)
- Mounting the fan on a padded surface
- Sound proofing the walls (Can't see this working too well since the door can't be easily insulated)
Will a combination of these things make it quiet enough that I won't hear it when the door is closed?
Thanks
