If you attempt to place an AC dimmer to the AC input of the driver, the drivers going to have a bad time and will be unhappy.
Its dimmable through an internal adjustment, which works but is not intended to be constantly changed all the time as its made of plastic and will wear out eventually.

You have a different driver.
The 200 is not dimmable. I would have thought it was too, but that one's not. At least with that driver that it comes with. If you bought a different driver I'm sure you could dim it.
This thread is where we all found that out. It was started by HLG and there's a rep in there too.

I bought mine when they were offering the stand alone boards, and bought the dimmable driver they recommended. Are they still using a driver that cant be dimmed while advertising it as one than can?
Seems stupid to not use their own driver recommendations for their kit.

I've read that thread and nowhere does anyone confirm it can't be dimmed. Frank had issues with turning it up past the max but asides that, it seems if you turn Io down, they... Dim. Turn it back up, they... undim(?). Turn it past a certain point and you're in maxed out driver mode. I know, I have an xlg-240 that freaks out when I turn Io up past 260W, but its still dimmable.
