A good cheap auto system

Hi guys I’m looking for some cheap ideas so I’m starting my second grow shortly this time I’m looking at going auto as I’m doing this grow somewhat remotely so won’t always be there on feeding times any ideas for a cheap system I don’t mind doing some diy.

Hi it’s just really the morning time I wouldn’t be able to feed in reality I could just get my brother to hand water in the morning but if a system was cheap enough to do then I would go that option I’m not so keen on the bottom feeding systems just my personal presence
 
I just feel I don’t get how they work enough to use them obvious they’re bottom feeding surely you’d have to hand feed long enough for a big enough root mass to feed on

So you have to check on your plants more than once a day, but only have time to do it in the afternoon/evening?

Edit: this reminds me of an old saying. There are 3 kinds of systems for tending to plants: good, cheap, and automated, and you can only ever have two of them

They work well if you follow the instructions. Currently at week 5 of 12/12, I have been in my tent once in that time (It has observation windows) for some defol, and have filled the res twice. By the end of the 8th week I will have filled the res twice more and been in the tent one more time to attend to any leaning flowers. I check the PH and EC about once a week. I literally have a look through the observation window once a week while checking the PH, and every other week top up the res.

They really are very very easy to use, the main things are not to use organic nutrients (clogs the lines) and never topfeed after they are established.

It's recommended to wait a week after potting up to the Autopots before starting the bottom feeding but that will depend on the size of the plants before transplanting. Larger plants I don't wait I just go straight to bottom feeding, depends really on the size of the rootmass.

Super soild info that can't really add but 1 thing. If NOT transplanting, the roots are usually far enough to let them bottom feed by 3 weeks or when the leaves are reaching the edges of the pots.

Sound mate thanks for that just need to get my clones now hate going from seed haha
