Ok I'm about to set-up a flood and drain table that I haven't used in a while, before I had to break it down there was a algea problem starting. What can I use to clean the table and rez before I set it up again?

Not only for the algea but as a general cleaning agent for in between grow's, something that will get rid of the hard water stains and what not?

Any thoughts on greased lightning or simple green?

nnnnnnnooooooo dont use that.....if you on a budget use 1 cap full of bleach to 1 gallon of water....if you have 30 bucks that you could part with go buy some clearex set up your system and just run straight water and clearex in it for 1-2 days....then empty everything and wipe down with a clean towel or two...clean as new in no time:)

Thank you for the response. Will clearex take care of the hardwater stains?

Doesn't bleach leave a residue? I guess I could just rinse and flush the hell out of everything. I'd still be a little nervous knowing that I just cleaned everything with bleach.

yes if you use bleach you have do do a good scrub....and rinse....if you like you could also use a clear natural soap...one with no color or fragrance added...that works good and is cheap.....im not sure about the HW stains but it may....try using the soap i mentioned and a new bristle brush and scrub on the stains see if that helps
