Meet Anabelle, my swiss bliss 4 1/2 weeks into flower. She's about 3 feet tall and i've been doing a ghetto style lst by bending the main stem around and moving some branches to allow the most light penetration from my 150w HPS. I also have 7 CFL's and a 70w HPS to provide some side lighting. I'm using generic nutes (~0-10-10). The pH is stable right around 5.7.

What do you guys think? She still has at least another 5 weeks to go so i'm hoping the buds will fatten up nicely by then. this is only my 3rd grow (only 2 were successful) so any info, ideas, comments, or suggestions would be fan-friggin-tastic!

meangreen - yeah its a wonderful little sativa. i gotta get a scope, but i'm thinking 9 weeks should be enough.

downonwax and sly - thanks alot. i was growing in an aerogarden before this, which wasn't bad, but the boom i got with 5 extra gallons of h2o and the output of a 150w is just incredible.

thanks for the kind words all!

trim the buds on the bottom third. Leave the fan leaves until they decide to come off themselves,.. give em a tug once and a while if they look weak.

Or if you don't mind more small buds versus fewer larger buds, (same yield).. let it go

Don't sativas take alot longer than 9 weeks? And what kind of nutes for your plant? I use age old organics and the bloom is 5-10-5 and the grow is 12-6-6. The only reason I say this is because even in flowering I think your plant needs some nitrogen. Anyways just a thought.

nickbbad, my boy grows swiss and he said 9-10 weeks is all it takes. i'll be checking the trichs in about 3 weeks and the whole way thru til finished so i'm 100% sure its ready

the nutes are called microbloom or something like that they came with my hydro setup and are a 3 part system. I give them a few shots of part a (6-0-0) if and when they need it, which is only once every two or so weeks. so far i haven't had any nitrogen deficiencies or anything like that. thanks for the info though i'll add a bit more to keep up the moral so to speak
