So i was sitting around a and got a good idea, I think its a good idea anyways....
I have been checking out those Smart Pots, or other fabric pots. Supposed to be way better.
A 3 Gallon runs from 7-10 Bucks, and i cant even get them where i live even if i wanted to spend that much money.
I wanted some fabric pots so i was thinking of trying this out;
1. Get a Fabric Grocery Bag (they are 99cents here).
2. Buy 2-4 pieces of craft felt (i paid 33 cents each at the dollar store)
3. Buy or find some tape around the house or whatever..(optional step)
4. Tape 2 pieces of felt together. Then tape 2 more pieces of felt together. (or just lay them overtop of one another overlapping about an inch or two).
5. Open up your cloth grocery bag.
6. Place the felt pieces on the bottom of the bag and up along the sides as far as they reach.
Now u have a $2.00 homemade version of a smart pot. And it even has handles. And i didnt have to pay to ship it to myself either.

I think it should work pretty much as good as a 10.00 one. Im not an expert tho, the ones who charge 10 bucks for a piece of fabric are the experts.
In the pic, the green bucket is 3 gallons. I think the Fabric bag is about 4.5-5 gallons. I put them side by side to compare the size. Thats my little mutant bonsai plant 3 weeks into flower in the green bucket.
Heres some pics of the build process. Some difficult, precise stuff going on,

"LIKE" it if u like it.
