I'm an old guy with chronic pain. I have a 3 x 3 grow box and a 400 watt sodium and Halide (switched to sodium for flowering). Any hints? Should I go soil or hydro? I was looking at Stealth hydroponics.

Research buddy and decide which sounds like it will fit you best, nobody can tell you what will work for you and in your growing space, conditions, you just need to read up on any methods that appeal to you and pick the one you think fits best and grow
Best of luck my man

Much depends on the quality of your water, and on how much time you want to spend on your grow. Soil doesn't give up all that much performance to hydro in terms of yield, and none in terms of quality. It is also lower-maintenance, but you have to be on top of nutrition issues "before they happen". The organic soil forum has soil recipes that can see you through a whole grow without interim feeding ... priceless for a first grow. cn

Thank you all.. I'll keep reading here. I have one "practice" indica now in soil and it's started to flower. I boosted CO2 in the tent. What's the approximate # of kush in a 3 x 3?

Definately soil for pure ease and less headache. Soil will act as a buffer for any nutrient issues. With hydro, you can have any number of problems with pH, nutes, hoses getting clogged/crimped. Anyway, get some good soil and you will be glad for the newb buffer it gives you. Best of luck with the Medicine mate.
