A Return to Growing- My 2nd Grow (BigBud from Seed, Organic Grow with Pics!)

Easy all,
I've been a big fan of the site for a while and I thought the best way to get some help with my grow would be to start a grow journal!
I've grown twice before in the past, however this was when I was young and naive, I'm now hoping to give it a proper go and hopefully get some real yields!
My Set-Up is as follows-

Bud Box 1m x 1m x 1.8m tall.
250Watt CFL for Veg.
400Watt HPS for Flowering.
10 Big Bud Seeds.
Primair Air Controller with 1 100mm intake and 1 100mm exhaust fans.

Tomorrow I'm going to be putting the seeds into a cup of water to start the Germination process, then they will be transferred into 10 Jiffy Cubes.

My first question is - how long should I ideally leave them in the Jiffy cubes for? Until the roots come through the bottom then transplant into my 1/2litre pots? This is what I think but not sure if I'm right?

I will post some pictures of my setup etc up tomorrow... hope some people take an interest

Just popped the seeds into a glass of water, have taken some pics of the grow room, will upload them tomorrow now and update on how the seeds are going!

Trust me.
Soak the seeds for 24 hrs and plant. No matter what they look like. They will be up 2 or 3 days.

Cool I will do that later on this eve then, I've read that a good temp for the seedlings is about 26 celsius is that right? Also whats the best way at keeping a high humidity in the tent whilst their in the jiffy cubes and also when I put them into the slightly larger pots for veg?

What you think you are going to do is get your plants in a ideal environment. You are not going to be able to do it. So if you keep temps and humidity close to what is recommended then your cool. At time you may need a humidifier or dehumidifier. Most just set the garden up and roll with what ever the temps and humidity are. So dont bang your head against the wall trying to get things perfect. If you are close then that's cool. I have done well in 100 fahrenheit before and a humidity at 40
