hi i am a new grower, i have one harvest under my belt with some schwag plants for practice but i decided to buy some good strains for this new cycle. So i ordered some autoflower white moscow seeds, i germinated 2 of them and put them in rockwool cubes and instantly started them on some nutrients from earth juice an came to find out that i burnt one of them and the other died. So i transplanted my burnt plant into some fox farm ocean forest potting soil and feed it only water which seemed to help but i also took it out from under the flouresant light it was under and put it under my 400 watt hps light on 24 hours and now my plant has completly stopped growing any leaves and is now budding!!!!!!!!!!! i need some help cuz this thing is only about 2 inches tall an i am not going to get any bud off this plant! someone please help me and let me know what the hell i am doing wrong and how to fix it so i can get some better production from this autoflower

lol its 2 inches tall and its already budding? youll be lucky to get a gram haha. some autoflowering plants are really prone to nutrient burn as it is. i have a lowlife auto blueberry and im probably not going to start nutrients for 2.5 more weeks (its only 3 days old now).

Cannabis is an extremely durable plant, it is a weed. You gotta take things a little slower from seed, a clone MIGHT have survived. From my own trial and error it sounds like you didn't give the seedlings time to set in. I know rockwool has no nutrients available but if you gave them a full or even half dose would have been too much IMO. Then the burnt one was already stressed and you transplanted and went from floro to a 400hps? Way too much for that little one to handle. Have a little patience, enjoy the grass grow. Hope this helps. Good Luck

k frmrboi i understand that i was just giving you the run down or what had happened to give people a better understanding i was more interrested in y it was budding not y it was burnt i know why it was burnt but since i put it in rockwool with no nutrition available to them i decided to give them a half mixture of some all organic solution i didnt think it would cause any harm but i was wrong. But thank you dutch black thats what i wanted to know i dont think im gonna grow auto flowers anymore ill just stick to the regular strains ten times easier to grow and you have complete control over when they flower

Yeah I am a control freak so I would not do well with an auto flowering plant, plus like you said with regular seeds you can make adjustments as needed. Good Luck.

Your absolutely right, but autos are not normal plants. They have been doctored genetically to put them on an auto schedule. It's against the normal of nature.
They are DNA soup and I am surprised they grow at all. In fact some auto strains were pulled off the market when it turned out they would not flower.
In a normal plant, stressing it and abusing it a little can be predictable and fixable. With these tinkered with genetics, all bets are off on what they will do or how they respond...IMHO but I will state I have never grown any auto or feminized seed. I only work with the regular seeds and kill any males or use them to make more seed.

Yea auto flowerin plants dont produce much at all lolz. When ur plants first sprout u dont wana feed them any nutes or u can real hurt them. U wouldnt feed ur baby energy bars and health shakes would ya? Same applys to just about anything thats first born. They like just plain ole water. Anything else fucks dem up.. lolz.

did you soak your rockwool in ph'd 5.5 water? I know you know you burned them with nutes...but for next time be sure to balance the water you soak your cubes in too. Then after you transplant the cubes into soil you can water the cubes a wee bit, keeping the soil dry for a good week. And yeah forget autoflowers, I shouldn't say that not having grown them, but it seems a full sized plant would be much more gratifying (and less gmo kinda' scary).

please post pics of this please. that would be so awsome if you had a tiny ass plant. not from a consumers side, but from a growers side i would love to see it about 5 months into flowering.

So are there any benifits besides it being auto flowering? Are these seeds in high demand? From pics I have seen these things are tiny, I suppose if you had a PC grow or something it would be cool. But them being altered does raise some concern, not natural anymore, like a cyborg just does what it wants.

They are bred from Cannabis Ruderalis. probably spelled that wrong but some ruderalis (hemp) has the ability to auto flower and through a ton of breading they get that trait into strains that have a higher thc content. i dont think i would ever grow autos because they dont yield alot and the inability to take clones off them.

but they do have good places they fit in like your outdoor garden planted between other things as they stay nice and short they would work perfectly, and with some having as short as a 60 day seed to flower time i could see keeping some around incase you ever got into a pinch. or new growers who dont want to go through all of the time some strains have with 2 month veg than another 12 weeks flowering.
