i read a lot from new growers about whether their plant will survive this or that..
there are the obvious things like a couple torn leaves and a broken branch that we all know a plant can survive...
but i wanted to show the extremes that these plants can survive through based on my own fuck ups from this grow..
i encourage others with pics to post them as well.. and the story of what happened.. its a boost for all those with sick plants currently
now to set the stage a little for my grow..
i switched from soil to hydro, and switched my grow room location...
during the early stages of life of the plants i am showing they went through a LOT of shit... i wont go too much into the germination phase... just know i didnt have the proper rooting medium, enough medium for the amount of time they were germing prior to being able to add them to my hydro system, nor the light to do it...
here are the more notable things that occured after germination...
for the first week they were in the hydro system they suffered 95 to 100 degree room temps and 80+ degree reservoir temps.. this was while i was doing some room construction and waiting on a new exhaust fan and water chiller to arrive..
after all that was taken care of my drain pump in my system fucked up and left my system flooded for 2 hours.. only reason it drained was i caught it and fixed the pump... this SEVERLY nute burned my girls...
at that time i had 8 plants.. i lost 1 from root rot... 2 from being male.. but the rest survived....
the girl i am showing off is my white shark.. she's my pride and joy right now... definatly the most amazing plant i have had.. and had the most dramatic recovery.. after the nute burn she dropped 90% or more of her leaves.. i almost pulled her because i was SURE she was dead for good... she didnt die.. she came back in FULL force... now she is 21" tall and just over 3 ft wide... almost 9 square feet...
i hope this, and whatever anyone else posts, help ease some minds of people who have sick plants... dont lose hope until the last minute.. and know that with a little TLC your plant can survive a lot more than you think...
