OK so i have what most people would call a street lamp. We actually use these for alot of diffrent applications at work this ballast and casing is kinda big but its a 110 MH ballast. Now i put in a 400w universal light so that i can set it in sideways and not vertical. I was wondering if anyone has alot of experiance with these lights cause as soon as i turn this light on of course it takes a few min to heat the gas inside the tube but it just doesnt seem like its puttin goff that much light. Its blue thats for damn sure but it just seems to me that when i put my 42w cfl in there its almost twice as bright. Not sure why this MH isnt doing the job its a small grow space its about 5 sq ft in a 10 sq ft room. so this 400w MH shoulkd be more than enough. Just wondering if maybe i should get about 3 more of theose cfls and run them with that MH or not. ANy thoughts on this would ne nice ty
