Hi folks,
No, 'AARP Super Kush' is not a new strain -- it's just a silly term I made-up to get your attention so I can introduce myself. I'm definitely AARP-eligible, but am not a member. When they use the dues to lobby for something sensible, like full-bore legalization, I'll start sending them checks. But they're too busy bankrupting the federal treasury for that. They actually think a cola is a Cost Of Living Adjustment to Social Security. Idiots!
When I'm President, we'll legalize and give every senior a cola that will actually do them some good -- an ounce a month. No extra money in their checks, just a nice organic cola to keep everyone really happy -- no prescription necessary.
So anyway, I'm an old guy who's taken up 'gardening' as a retirement hobby. Had my first miraculous toke as a kid back in 1965. Enjoyed it all through college and early in my career, but gave it up when I got a serious job on Capitol Hill. Then along came my daughter, which added another 20 years or so to my hiatus. ["Do as I say, Sweetie, not as I do!" Yeah, I'm a hypocrite. But every good parent has to be.]
But now I'm back, baby! No employers to worry about; my wonderful daughter's grown; have a home in the country with an understanding non-toking wife, lots of privacy, and a big vegetable garden with tall smelly plants growing in the back, behind the pole beans and tomato plants. And at 4:20 or so each afternoon, I blaze.
I stumbled across rollitup.org while researching growing techniques and I am glad I did. Members here have been terrific to me, taking time to answer my newbie questions and concerns. I love this site and am glad to be part of the growing community of Americans who think they ought to be able to smoke a garden plant as long as Congressmen are allowed to drink whiskey and media elites can wax eloquent about the joys of fine wine.
