I commend your passion. It can be a very rewarding hobby. It looks like you are on your way. A 10x10x8 room is 800 cu ft. This means that a 700 cu ft /min blower will exchange all the air in the room in less than 2 minutes. That should be sufficient. Are you planning on using it for an exhaust and will it be hooked up to a carbon scrubber?

Mother plants and clones grow well under t5 fixtures. How many watts and fixtures you will need is going to depend on the size of your footprint for your plants. A couple of 4' tubes will probably cover16 clones and then a couple more for the mother plants. They do not need a load of watts to veg. Good luck and I hope this helps.

I hear what your saying about growing is more than...
so, a high output 6" fan or 8" will ven your room well.
Soler and Palau 8" mixed flow comes to mind.

Around 400w in t5 should be good for the 5x5 veg room.

Black and white panda works a lot better than mylar, it might reflect less, but doesnt cause light burn, doesnt conduct electricity, and is a hell of a lot easier to clean.
Good luck with your grow.

looks like your on a right start...have your grown anything befor? what is your back grown...soil or hydro? check craiglist or ebay for deals...i just picked up 4 lights and hood setups with bulbs...600 watters for like 260 a piece brand new and there diggies...as for the setup...how many clones can you get..are you goona veg those bag boys out then clone to get more or just veg them out ofr a month or 2 then flower... i have found...20 to 30 plants a light.. vegg for a week or two then flower....makes you that at least lb to 2 a light....as for fans...a 700 should be good..any t5 setup or 150 CFls you can buy at lowes will hold those moms...as well as the clones...i would go with a 4 by 2 6 bulb t5..or if you have the money just get a 400 watt MH forthe moms andclones....good luck

You will need a fan/ ventilation system for the lights. And you will need a fan/ exhaust system for the room. The light fan will need to be tough, like the 700cfm you mentioned. I'm pretty sure you could split it 3 ways, or chain the lights together (but that may cause heat in the last light). This fan stays on whenever your lights are on.

You'll also need an exhaust fan to pull the air out of the room, for fresh air and for heat. You can have this fan on a thermostat and timer for control. For this fan, depending on heat/ use, I would get at least twice as big as your room. Man 800 cu.ft would be 1600 cfm. That's big. I just have a little closet. I feel like that suggestion is overkill, but I also think it is right. However see what everyone else says before you go out spending money on my advise.

You asked about separate fan "for both hood". If you mean the lights in one room, then yes, but if you mean the veg area and the flower area, it would be possible, but not the best. They will be on different schedules and building up heat/ humidity at different times. Plus you want conditions different in the different spaces, so different exhaust fans for the two areas is best (if that's what you meant).

aye same room as im going 2 have 3 600's im either going 2 hang them like

light-light-light or

light
light
light

im thinking of doing it the 2ed way so does that mean i can go like

light
blower - light -fan
light

or
blower -light -fan
blower -light -fan
blower -light -fan or

blower-light-light-light-fan

i hope that is clear for u 2 understand

If you get a fan big enough, it would be easiest and take the least space to chain them all together.

Whatever you do, fans before lights is best. Making a fan push air, rather than pull or suck, is much easier on the fan.

I would think on 'super' fan at the start of the chain would be good, and to add or adjust you can add cheaper, smaller booster fans at end of the chain, or in between lights.

I hope that's clear. If not try again. ha

The cooler the better, but the room would be just fine either way. It would probably be easier to suck air from another room, so you don't have to worry about moisture or debris. Just make sure to pick air up as close to the ground as possible so it's as cool as possible.

and about cooling the lights, the best way to direct them is bulb toward the airflow.

So have it be that the wind blows on the bulb first and then the socket, rather than onto the socket first.
