About a pound...simple and cheap.

Just thought I would share what I have been doing the last couple if grows. 6-8 plants.

Cast of characters:
Cheap BBS ProMix. $14/2,2 cu ft.
Perlite. Bought huge bag 2 grows ago for $15 and it should last 8 grows.
Mykos. Bought 2.2lb pouch 2 grows ago for $25 and it should last 20 grows at least.
Jack's Citrus 20-10-20 $14 lil tub will last 3 grows.
Epson Salt. Bought 4lbs at Walmart for $3. Will last forever.
RootOne rooting hormone. Bought for $6 a year ago will last my lifetime.
Spring Water. Artesian well, free

Est. cost per 8 plant grow excluding electricity: $22

Start 12 cuttings in straight ProMix and plain water in Solo party cups..cut stem dipped in Rootone powder. (90% success rate)

Cull to 8 plants as I first transplant into 1/2 gallon pots adding 1 tblspn of Mykos to root area.

When plants are about 15", I top the main and LST the whole plant to side of pot.

Once LST is firmly established i transplant to 3-4 gallon pots again adding 2 tblspns Mykos to root area. 2 plants stay in cloning cabinet to make cuttings for next grow. 6 plants hit the main floor.
They are watered during veg with Jacks, 1/2 tsp per gallon until a couple weeks into flower when I reduce to 1/4 tsp and then at 50 days nothing but water. Epson is added when needed and generally at a 1/8 tsp per gallon rate.

Last grow fended better than 3 zips per plant.

Pretty easy and cheap.

Have you figured what your variable costs are per unit/ounce ? That is what I am in the process of figuring out but won't have final numbers until after harvest.

mine is $.28-.37 per gram
after all costs and maintenance, replacement bulbs, nutes, elec etc. rent varies as does # of lights. that gets calculated to each run separate along with curing costs. ive got 5 grow houses now. the financial side of things can be a pain

So on the high side, you are growing an ounce at a cost of little over $10 an ounce? That is a nice profit margin.

4th grow will be harvested in about 20 days. Grow 5 clones are about 12". As I have just the one room with the cloning cabinet built in, timing is important.

Short of casually comparing electic usage my room is barely a blip as I have horses and various other critters that I am constantly adding and subtracting electical needs. Shit I have 3 300w halogens above dog kennels and another 5 in various outbuildings. I am just more conscious of making sure only things that need to be on are on.

I have 2 t5 fluorescents in my clone cab. and my 600w MH bulb has yet to be changed...hope to push it to its 10000 hours Have an HPS with about 600 hours on it. I have a 6" Hurricane centrifugal running about 70% of the time and a 16" oscillating fan that runs maybe 50% of the time. An oil-filled radiator type electric heater is used sometimes as well as a dehumidifier.
Bottom line is I only grow for my wife's medical and myself so short of giving stuff away a few times I produce much more than I need. Hate to admit it here but I dumped a lb into a bon fire a couple weeks ago and this is stuff my original clone source sells for $400 a zip.

Not just kidding with the above. Two plants would be enough for me, but every grow I use half the crop to experiment with in some way.

Wow. I'm not one to tell anyone what to do with the excess medicine. Isn't there a local dispensary around you or something in your area where you could donate the excess to those who can't afford it? I get that you might not live in a legal state though.

I'm in no way judging you at all. Actually I get it completely. Keeping unecessary weight around can be a bad idea legally. There must be people who need it. I'm sure a local oncologist could help you if you felt you could reach out to one with discretion.
