about making seeds

ok so i did some cloning and it was kewl, but i always liked the speedy veg a seed 4 weeks then top and flower, so i always just buy new seeds everytime.

another reson i like seeds is that it has the the least amount of "up time"
as far as going from nothing setup to being done and able to take down the setup. with mothers u needto always have a setup running

anyway i am tired of ordering seeds everytime and i want to make my own
i want to ge ta good stable strain from a good seed bank then instead of tossen all the males i want to keep 1 and put it in a growbox with 1 female
and seed it so i have a stock pile of good seeds

how long will seeds stay good for? if i get tons of them i dont want them going bad b4 i can use them

and my main concern is getting pollen in my grow room, i dont want seeds on my main fems, but im afraid it will stick to me and clothes and everything and then ill have weed pollen floaten around the house forever impregnating my crops

so any tips on seeding 1 plant away from my main crop, without cross contamination of pollen

also what kinda lighting do i need in the box that im seeding in, will just a 2 bulb fluro tube fixture be enough, i kinda want to get atleast 100 seeds for shur but id like close to 200. how many u think 6600 lumans of fluro tubes get me

i tried to "save" a male because it was a real good strain. we kept it in another room of the house but we still pollinated all of our females in the grow cab and thay all went to seed. it's not worth it to keep the male unless you can grow it outside safely.
we got a decent harvest but all of it was full of seeds. the pollon is so fine i think it floated through the air to the vents in our grow cab, or it stuck to our hands. you can't wash it off your hand easily and now we need to completely clean and disinfect our grow cab before starting again.
