Careful, some 4x4 flood tables are actually wider than some 4x4 tent's dimensions. Specifically in between the poles.
3x3 low tide trays (on top of a short slanted frame of some kind) are perfect in a 4x4 for a DTW hydro system, or even just soil runoff. The pots shouldn't really be pushed up against the wall anyway, in any kind of grow other than SOG, so it's not like you need full coverage across the floor.
You can drop the tray right into a PVC pipe frame, that goes all the way around and under the rim of the tray, holding it up. Can even use a heat gun and bend pipe right around the tray corners for the ultimate fit, and save money you would otherwise spend on more specialized pvc fittings. (like 3 way corners)

Every tent I've seen comes with a removable floor tray made out of the same material as the tent if that's the one you're talking about.
Maybe they forgot yours?

I know it confused me too, but people in another thread insisted that the tray that comes with the tent isn't enough. Then I spent 2 hours looking for one that definitely fit to no avail.Every tent I've seen comes with a removable floor tray made out of the same material as the tent if that's the one you're talking about.

It is because you are trying to put that tent on carpet
One mistake or even in best of times a recipe for disaster be it water or mold damage

You don't have to have a 4x4 tray for the bottom of the tent. Just make sure that your pots are sitting in something to collect any runoff. You're growing in soil. Just get some deep saucers to put each pot in like many do. You can get a 4x4 tray if you want but it isn't necessary. You shouldn't have more than a small amount of runoff that you can easily deal with by using some plant saucers. If you water by hand you shouldn't have any issues. If you were using an automated watering system you would have the potential for something to go wrong and cause a small flood. Watering by hand in pots does not require a 4x4 tray.

No one insisted it wasn't enough. They were just advising that most if not everybody has a spill at some point and to get a tray to catch the runoff or as someone else on the other thread said use saucers for each plant.

You need to look for 4x4 "outside dimension" trays-the one I got for my gorilla 4x4 is from Botanicare and it fits tight. I knew of at least one other guy who has the same tray in the same tent, so I'd check reviews and forums to see if anyone put one in an AC infinity tent, or you can just measure twice and cross your fingers it fits. It isn't necessary though, but I do like it.

You could always grind out notches in the corners of the tray, for the poles to fit through, if its a little too big..

Thanks i agree, I definitely am taking the risk seriously. Its just hard finding a reasonably priced product that "for sure" fits
Nothing is "standard" in this endeavour. It's a lot like Vaping... everyones mod is different & very few of your things fit my thing. And then when you're in a lot of pain, research isn't easy. Sorry if I came off as snarky or dismissive, definitely didn't mean to.
Guess I'll stick with the saucer idea until i can find a good tray.

Saucers should be fine. If you were doing DWC or automated Coco DTW I could see getting a tray. With soil in pots the saucers are fine. If you're really concerned then you could get a piece of 7x10 pond liner which you could easily put on the bottom and up the sides a bit in the unlikely event you flood your tent hand watering plants in pots of soil.

What I've been doing is to put a dowel under that tray to keep water in one area then just pouring water into the tray and letting the plants suck it up. The tray is waterproof unless it's been torn and so is the floor of the tent underneath that. The room my little tent is in has a vinyl floor but I still laid down some clear plastic on that before setting up the tent.
You can see the dowel under the tray in this pic. Trays under the pots takes up too much room so I'd either water the pots and let the runoff get sucked up by others or just mass water them by flooding the tray. Easy to clean the tray when the plants get moved to the grow room.

I have the same tent. I use trays and stands (I usually grow in coco in soft pots).
They come in various sizes and work perfect. My local hydroponics store had a good selection and prices.
Easy to change your configuration depending on how many plants and what size.
Easy to clean and store.

Accidents happen!
A tent can also sit on a tray instead of a tray in the tent. I've seen both the tent and res in a large tray or kiddie pool. You'll wish you'd done it after damaging carpet or hard wood floor!
