Their “auto mode” was unfortunately developed by someone who doesn’t understand how growers need these fans to work and it’s really the only thing I hate about the fan. What I found, that works better for me, is to set every “auto mode” set point to “OFF”, set the alarms for the high temp and high RH to the values that you want the fan to ramp up to 100% when reached, then put your fan in “ON” mode and set the speed to the speed you want it to be at the majority of the time. This keeps the fan on at all times, at the speed you set it to, until the temperature or RH hits the alarm set points you set. Once one of those alarm set points are met the fan will ramp up to full speed until the temp/RH are back in normal range. The only problem with this method is that the alarm will beep when those set points are met and there’s no way to disable the beep. I’m tempted to order a spare controller box just so I can open it up to see if there’s any way I can tap into it to control it properly. If not then I’ll just desolder and remove the alarm speaker from the board.
