Hey all , looking to improve on my 4x4 gorilla tent . I run a 4 pot xxl autopot system 9 gallon , under a fluence spydr 2i 630w led . I’m looking to maximize yield / quality as well as keeping my ladies in a perfect environment . I have one clip on active air fan , and a 6” carbon filter and exhaust fan . My porch where the tent is located is air conditioner and insulated . It does get cold in the winter so I would like to add a heater as the fluence is a pretty cool light . I’d like to get a dehu/humidifier , and use the pro69 controller with co2 to maximize yield . I’d like to keep everything ac infinity , and am open to all suggestions ! Thanks !

Hi DoubleD,
I’m a big fan of the AC Controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment), the AC humidifier and the new Thermoforge heater. Allows you to achieve a very stable growing environment. I haven’t messed with CO2 and don’t think it’s possible to get a high enough concentration of CO2 with the heater pumping fresh air into the tent constantly.

I’m in a 2x4 Gorilla tent. I have 8 controls so I use it to control my exhaust fan, AC 11” corner LED lights, a Mars Hydro UV/IR lamp, a Thermoforge heater, an ACI humidifier, two oscillating fans on the plants, and one 9” fan blowing on my LED. It’s extremely stable and very programmable. I will probably add another fan after I flip to flower.

Notice that I’m not running my primary lighting through the controller. AC Infinity also has a UIS Control plug for controlling non AC Infinity equipment, but I don’t trust it to control my Timber LED. I use a Kasa smart outlet to control the on/off times for my primary LED. I’ve had the Controller 69 turn the light on when it shouldn’t during flower during an update, so I lost faith in the UIS Control Plug and Controller 69. I’ve also seen some examples of the UIS plugs melting. This was a few years ago…..maybe they’ve gotten better at running updates.

I went with the 69 pro + , a few days before the new AI controller released and sold out instantly .. major bummer .

I’m running a manual timer , on 6/2 for my kind x750 . I’m severely bummed that the controller can’t intensify and dim my grow light and may switch to their evo 10 with supplement uv lighting over my kind at some point .
I have the ac infinity t3 humidifier in my 4x4 , the ac heater inside my tent “my tent is on my porch and winter is here “
Ac 6 inch inline fan outside with filter inside my tent , and a 4 inch active air triggered on and off by the ac smart plug - that also has a carbon filter . My philosophy was clean air in , will give me a better product at the end of the grow , I also got their co2 controller and regulator . My biggest problem so far has been keeping everything in the .9-1.1 vpd range , but the plants seem very happy after 10 days .
These are SRS autoflowers in autopots , and I have 3 more on the floor in a tray , in floraflex quick fill 1 gallon grow bags .
This is a picture from day 7 . We’re now at day 11 , and I suspect the explosive growth is coming . Ironically one of the smaller seedlings , has now blown past everything in there “wish I had waited to transplant into the autopots/ grow bags a little longer
I’m going to put my air conditioner on a smart plug also , as well as a decent electric heater outside the tent to boot . Keeping temps in the 80-85 degree range is gonna be tough as well as high humidity during winter being a struggle

I forgot to add , I run a propane buddy heater on the porch to keep it warm . The co2 content is insane , it’s basically a co2 burner - and doubt I’ll even need a bottle all grow . With my air conditioner running I’m seeing 1200 ppm , when it shuts off it will exceed 2000. This should allow me to run my lights hot , and hammer them with ppfd !

A co2 bottle is pointless for a tent, the co2 goes right out the exhaust.

The co2 in my lung room - where it exhausts and intakes is almost always 800+ .thats just with the buddy Heater and its pilot light on - and with no bottle keep it high continuously . I honestly didn’t realize the co2 was so high on my front porch - because of a propane heater , but that essentially is what a co2 burner is , just less heat .
I’ll have the option down the road - to use the bottle system annd intend to, but right now it is monitoring co2 levels inside my tent .

If you’re dialed in correctly , I don’t see why injecting co2 into the tent atmosphere when fans are off - then shutting it off when you evacuate it into the same room it’s drawing air into the tent from - how it wouldn’t work . You’re venting the co2 into the lung room - which recirculates back to the tent . My setup Draws fresh air from a window ac 1x an hour , unless temps in tent get to warm - then it’s turned on to cool the lung room /tent back down where it needs to be at . I may lose a little co2 everytime it recirculates but with winter here and that buddy heater on constantly , i won’t need a bottle anytime soon .

The Thermoforge actually exists?!

I'm all in with both AC Infinity and Kasa. They work like a charm. Fans, humidifier, and heater with the C69 Pro +. I started with Inkbirds and a Pulse but retired them when I found the AC Infinit gear.

How well does the Thermoforge work for you? What configuration are you using?

"I haven’t messed with CO2 and don’t think it’s possible to get a high enough concentration of CO2 with the heater pumping fresh air into the tent constantly."
Answered my biggest question.

"I’m in a 2x4 Gorilla tent."
Same here.

It’s excellent in my 4x4 , and being on 6/2 I keep it triggered on , specifically when my lights are off .
Being able to maintain 70-75 degree off temps, with 80-85 on , and maintaining / decreasing humidity , with high co2 levels has definitely made a big difference so far in this grow . I’m targeting .9-1.1 vpd , and my ppfd is 2-300 right now , which they’re loving for sure .
I like the heater and well worth it to me . The co2 kit , I bought initially intending to run a bottle but with my co2 through the roof during the cold winter / it’s only going to be a monitoring tool to make sure I have enough co2 .

I've also read that you can have a hot room with high CO2, like 28 or 30c. In practice you still get dry, stressed buds that tend to grow "bad" (mostly stem) foxtails. I have confirmed results :) Also the probability of you walking in to your room/tent one morning and finding your bud coated in spider mite webs goes way the fuck up.

You can't beat a nice 24c.

I use the AC infinity bowl trimmer and I love it. It's truly freed me from trim gaol. I can get what took a week with scissors done in a weekend. That said most bowl trimmers are basically the same. I got some straight nose trimmers with it and their pretty nice though personally i don't like trimmers with springs. They fatigue the hand over time.

Yeah, your heater should supply lot's of co2, maybe too much? It all depends on how well sealed your porch is, only experience will show how much bottled co2 is used in the summer. Window air conditioners aren't well sealed so the common setup is a sealed room and a mini split AC.

I plugged in my monitor on the shelf, 670 ppm. In the couple minutes it took to get it setup in the tent, my breath had raised it to over 950 and I've seen over 1500 in the bedroom at night.

Many here think they need a constant supply of fresh air... which is around 420 ppm... and just I keep using my 600-900 ppm stale air. ;)

I love my Ac infinity 6" oscillating fans and a AC Infinity controller.
Have had issues with the fans but they sent me replacements right away.
