Accidentally super cropped -_-

During my SCROG I bent the main stem over a lil too far and CRACK, one inch slit down the center, not through, and it could still stand straight up.

So fuck it I put a little duct tape with a zip tie, I’ll remove the zip tie tomorrow, duct tape in 10 days.

I’ve always been too scared to super crop, well now I’ve gone down this path let’s hope something awesome happens!

I’ll post results and measure growth over the next week, or death lol

LOL, I did this accidentally the first time too. It is actually how I learned to lst. I didn't personally see like huge results on the cropped branch compared to the others, but I did see overall increased yield because my canopy was better...

Supercropping involves more than repairing damaged branches. Done even halfass it increases yield. Even without a SCROG.

i find cropping just stunts growth and stresses the plant. some lst and scrog is much better in my eyes
just leave the duct tape on and the branch will remove it on its own unless you have wrapped it several times around in that case id remove it in two weeks
i have snapped branches in two and tapped them together and its healed it self and kept growing but personally i find that's a waste of the plants energy better to just scrap that bit or clone it and let the rest of the plant grow

If you ask me, the first top is too important to forego. Bending over the central stalk leads to wonky plant balance I find, so a topping when she's tiny gives me branches to bend later

I'm a supercropping fiend. Smash bend smash bend. Been doing it for years. I've found that it increases branching without slowing down growth on the top like actual topping does. It's my main method of canopy control.

The next day. The top is already growing back up.

that's just going to stand back up in a few weeks unless you put it in a scrog
i still prefer lst but i will say it is annoying to having strings everywhere. cropping is easier and quicker by far
but when crapping you are damaging the plant and that will stunt growth even if its only two day. each meathead works good
