So it appears i havent killed these fkers
I found maggots and damage on my leaves 4 week ago
I used neem teatree peppermint lavendar citronella in spray every day seems to controll em i thaught it was gone. also diatemencious earth

Ive never seen an adult thrip. Though a gnat or white fly was goin mad i cudnt catch the 1 fly .

But leaf damage said thrips are still at the base of my planta lastnight altho not bad outa 100 leaves there on 5 or 6. Needless to say i removed them.

I am week 1 flower so in panicing as heat wont et me go back in veg...

I found spinosad but the only guy i can gey any off within the week dissolves it in acetone...
And i found this about acetone
Acetone (found in nail polish remover) dissolves the membrane and releases chlorophyll from the chloroplasts organelle in the plant cell.

So is it safe to use diluted in water ? Or is it gona kill the pla ts as i found other research saying it stunts planys anddamages membrane cells. But doesnt say if thats in pure form...

Or a product from montery gardens but doesnt list all ingredience

I found this too bur its 5day delivery over the acetone version?
Im in a panic so do i wait foe this mobtery or order the acetone lol

Sorry homie, I can’t advise. Maybe test spray a very small area. Has he used this?

IMO i would not spray acetone on any plant let alone a “ consumable “ plant. Acetone carries a chronic toxicity if inhaled or ingested. It literally strips paint.

Thrips can be controlled with stickys , nematodes, azamax and a slew of OTC garden friendly insecticides. Even a simple ISO / water / dish soap mix will knock them off leaf effectively.

That simple insecticide soap mix can penetrate the waxy membrane of that insect to kill it. You can also lay down a surface 100% perlite to resist egglaying in soil. Horticultural sand can do this too.

It ia 1ml in 2 litres used to dissolve the spinosads. Acetone is also miscable secobds after being open. And is found naturaly in humans plants and soils. And known as a miscable product so im lead to think it should be safe. .
Back in the day and i dont condone it we used to wash our hands n grinders in it and smoke the oils lol. Yeah we evaporated it off and butane .
But now im all grown up my bodys a temple.

Ive orderdd it he sends it seperate so i can mix.
I see that montary is the same but using polyethe glysol. Which is too a miscable product but with no natural origin i can find. But catagoriaed with acetone
