ACMPR application times

I know there are already some threads discussing the wait times for applications. However, having called HC and waiting 3 hours to be told my file wasnt even in the system yet may I suggest a thread that may save some of us some aggrevation time:

A simple thread that has posts only by those who received there registration. Keeping things simple, post the date it was sent and the date you received the registration.

I think this would give some of us a good sense as to what/when to expect. Furthermore it may be useful info for anyone actively working to change the system for the better. This can prove to be good clinical data displaying the ridiculous nature of the currently corrupt system.

Anyhow, post away if you agree and have anhthing to report.

My renewal is in mid July. Apt is booked for next week to renew my grow papers per my clinics recommendations because of the 3+ month wait times....

I am curious as to how your renewal can be mid-July ? The ACMPR was announced by Health Canada on 11 August 2016 and came into force on 24 August 2016 according to the Health Canada website .

Information on the new Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations

On August 11, 2016, Health Canada announced the new Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR).

The ACMPR came into force on August 24, 2016. These regulations replace the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) as of August 24, 2016, and are being implemented as a result of the Federal Court ruling in the case of Allard v. Canada.

HC has had my rewnwal forms sense march 2nd. I called last friday and was on hold for two hours only to be told they haven't even started to open the mail yet from the date.

another 10 to go at least? by that time they should have another system in the works

How can one renew grow without the next prescription in hand yet?

there is no RIGHT WAY yet and
Im doubting there ever will be a clear set out regulation that wont get challenged for many years to come actually.

It may not be in peoples best interest to give out that information, call me paranoid but giving out information that can be used by the government to easily track your online presence just seems like a bad idea.

My papers took 13 weeks but it is apparently a longer wait these days.

Indeed... what is this a covert opp to correlate data? Dude, you are way off with this idea....

The systems sucks, the wait time is getting worse, the only reasonable response for sick people is to mail your application with a tracking number for proof, and then immediately do what you need to do. If your application is sent back because they are retards, who cares send it again with tracking. Keep doing what you do. Sick people should not have to "play games".

Mine was received by HC May 23 and was approved Oct 26.

So sorry you and the others posting here...have what most business would consider, total inappropriate handling of your applications, with respect to reasonable... wait times for any service and being that this/these are medical need situations...the level of incompetence is baffling ..
Please advocate for your own healthcare and do not let HC leave you in the lurch ,for months with no medication or way to treat yourself...

Of course your own personal comfort level will usually tell you....if your comfortable enough to treat yourself or not...before the actual piece of paper arrives...
