adding a 400 hps with 3-4 weeks left

ive got 3-4 weeks left on my rhinos, there under a 600 hps now and looking great, ive got a spare 400 lying around and im thinking of adding it for the last few weeks, so will it be worth the hassle of adding it with 3 weeks to go or should i just wait until the next lot go in and add it from the start.

also i pull around 13oz with 6 plants under the 600, will adding the 400 be worth the extra electric on the end product? will i get bigger and heavier buds still using only 6 plants? thanks for any help.

How big is your grow room?

its in a triangle so not sure how to work out the exact square foot, but its 5 foot x 5 foot ( 2 sides) 6 foot width x 8 foot high,

At this point, I don't think it will do enough for your yield to warrant adding it, next go round it probably would be if you have the room and want the extra lumens.

more light = bigger plants. so yeah add it...if you have the space for it and can KEEP it COOL. then use it as needed for future grows.

At this point in the grow, it's not really going to add anything to your yield. I would use it for your next grow and I think it will help then.

thanks for the responses ive got the room just! like i said above my room is a triangle so the 600 will cover 4 of the plants easy and if i drop the 400 near the point of the triangle it will cover 2 plants and the other 4 along with the 600, so the lights will overlap each other.

think i will wait till the next grow to add it. hope it makes a difference.

I definitely think it will make a difference for your next grow. You will have complete coverage with 2 lights.
