Using a tent for bloom right now, looking for advice on what light would be best to add to the configuration for better performance. Currently have a 6400K (yeah I know wrong spectrum for bloom, just using it because that's what I had) 125W CFL with reflector and a Kessil 350 magenta inside a tent (2' deep, 4' wide, about 6.5' tall). 6" fan with a carbon scrubber, and exhausting out of the tent (had to set it up to exhaust outside of the tent because temps were getting kinda warm if I just recirculated....I live where it is stupid hot, especially in the summer).
I have a couple hundred bucks I can put into it and am looking to add a little bit of lighting, whichever will benefit me the most. Should I go with some fluorescent from the hydro shop (whatever a couple hundred will get me), some CFL from home depot on a DIY light strip kind of thing, HID, etc? Keep in mind temps go sky high in that tent so I'm assuming an HID I would have to do something to address the heat.
Growing SOG style, rooted clones go from ez cloner knockoff to flood/drain in the tent on 12/12 lighting. It does ok at the moment, but it is clear I need more lighting. I'm NOT an experienced grower, just now learning and really trying to figure out what is best for my environment, climate, and budget. So please go easy on me
