adding exhaust/intake to my box

would it be better for ventilaion/temperature if i totally sealed the box except for the fans?

or would it benefit my temps to leave the back of the box completly open to the air.

its a marshall cabinet put inside a closet to look like a recording setup. the closet is quite cluttered and i have a sleeping bag around some of the light leaks.

my temps are high 90s/100degrees f. my girls are surviving for now but it needs to be cooler. having it in my closet is my only choice for now and it makes the closet pretty hot. i would like to avoid using ducts and cutting holes in the floor/ceiling.

ive been looking for a mini air conditioner but i cant seem to find anything miniture. i did find one that runs on batterys/usb but the filters must be changed often and im not sure what kind of cooling it would provide but its only $40 so i should give that a try huh.

depending on the size of your fan dictates whether you should completely seal up your cabinet.

if you are exausting the cab into the closet, nothing will work unless you vent the closet as well

^ yeah im realising this now. i can keep the door open for most of the light cycle but its gotta be closed sometimes.

theyre small, just the two fans from my old computer, one was by the power source, the other pointed at the cpu.
