Adding gas to your plants

Hey all,

I'm new to this, but just to clear this up I'm not actually add GAS to muah plants lol.
I was watching a youtube video by hydrogro or something along that line, and he was referencing lighting to plant is like gas to cars. If you have 10 gallons and 100 cars the gas doesn't change, same for lighting with your plants. So my question is whats the best lighting I can get? I researched the NextLight 525W LED but since I've never done this before and their goal is to obviously sell me on the product then yeah I'm impressed but that doesn't means its actually good.

So I would like to know what your experiences have been with the best lighting and set up. I'm going to be running it out of a 4x4 tent for starts and do the complete basics, just until I get the hang of it and then move from there. Also I'n your experience what has been the best strain that you've ever smoked? Give me your scale rating: smoke rating 1-10, grow rating 1-10, yield rating 1-10, bag appeal 1-10, smell 1-10 (I obviously know some of these are based on personal preference and growing style but I want your rating with your experience of the different strains you've grew/smoke/tasted/fell in love with)

Thanks guys much love

Wow,,,You have a lot of questions in one post.....Lighting intensity is what your looking to learn about. The more you have the better for the plant and it reaching it's potential.

For you, in a 4x4 tent - I might say you should look at 1k HID in the common OR dual ended HID style (GAVITA), Another interesting choice would be to look at CMD lighting in the 315w Ceramic Discharge Metal Haldide.....If you must LED, the only way to go is to build your own COBB lighting - there is plenty of that info available here simply by doing a "search" right here on this site.

Great info on lighting and what it means by the numbers by getting this book and reading it.....It does a good job of explaining lighting and the hows and why's....
