Adding perlite to a plant that is already growing

Can I add perlite to a plant that is already rooted? The plant is about 7-8".

You can add a little to the top & stir it in some.... just don't disturb the roots more than 2" or 3" deep in a 3 gal. or bigger pot. But if she's in a small pot.... repot in any soil mix you like. Check out Hempy grows .... they use only perlite.

perlite should be mixed in the soil so when you repot mix perlite in the new soil.
