I'm building a Cree COB for my 3x3. I was planning on incorporating a Zilla Reptile unit, , but that an AgroMax UV solution is better but should be cycled, best 15 minutes per hour for four or so hours.
I don't want to drop $30+ for a repeating timer. I can get a decent quality grounded mechanical that can do 30 minute intervals. I'll be adding it to my current finish (top side mount), and possibly designing the COB with individual heatsinks so I can center mount it thing later. It's a CFL, a decent mechanical timer should do right? Any thoughts on 30 minute intervals vs. 15min? 7ft tent height so I I can do the recommendation 36in from canopy.
