Hey guys, thanks for giving this a peek.

I've been following a strain-specific grow guide for my lowryder #1s.

And it suggests to sow them in thier final pot of 1-2 gallons. I've seen pictures of this strain grown in big gulp cups and other very small things, so makes sense I think.
Ive got 2 in two gallon pota, and 2 in one gallon pots.

I'm at about 39 days and 2 weeks into flower, and the ones in the 1 gals look like they could be uncomfortable.

To compound the problem, one of the plants seems to be much more stretchy than the rest, and it's in a 1 gal.

Would you guys suggest I pot-up at this stage? Or finish out?

Also, if anyone could shed light on why one plant grew legs under identical conditions?

Any particular reason for the tiny pots? I've always heard that upcanning during flower takes a bit from bud production, but have not verified this personally.

this type of picture is popular on the Internet. this strain has been grown in all types of comical containers. Screenshot_2015-04-01-11-41-25.png
I made the mistake of taking instructions from another's experience l, to heart. I've read this strain does best in 1-2 gal pots.

These things got way bigger than I expected.

They're from vision seeds. I'm not sure if it's the same lowryder genetics as when they were popular

This run your gona have to jus run with it cuz transplant this late will effect yeild or stress it into a seeded mess but jus feed with good nutrients and lollipop the lower stuff off the taller lanky ones and leave enough up top to yeild you something and it should help. . But next time as a rule of thumb u want one gallon for every month so for a 8 week strain ag least 2-3 gallon i normaly want a big as a pot i can fit so my roots ar nice cuz nice root system means nice plant and product jus like a house i wana take care your foundation
 
I would never lollipop or trim up an auto ever...unless its dead material. Life cycle is not long enough to rebound.

If its small and spendly its tacking away from the upper bud quality tryn to support the lower stuff thats nor realy getn light depinding o wat wattage ur using it will help no way it can hurt

Never transplant an auto friend. Next time use 3 gallon smart pots to allow roots to breath and air prune themselves to prevent encirclement. Great for drainage and flushing as well.

Then again iv never grown an auto so yea normal strain that wat id do but shit experiment with it dont know till you try

I understand what you mean friend..and to each his own. Experiments are fun.
 
Thank you guys for the help. I'm going to sit tight with them for now. I may experiment pruning on the one that's taller than the rest, as the bushier ones are starting to stack up nice, and even frost a bit.

3 gallons seems perfect and I love the idea of smart pots.

I've experimented quite heavily with autos.. Most do not like to be molested in any way shape or form though. They meet their demise much too soon to be heavily lst'd
