Adequate Lighting?

hey guys just recieved my seeds and plan on growing organically. My plan is to germinate 5 seeds and veg them till they get about 2 or 3 feet tall. Then I want to get a clone off every plant and flower the clones to see if they are male/female. After I weed out the males, I will keep the best looking/healthiest plant as the mother. All the rest will go into the flowering room. Then I will keep cloning the mother and growing the clones then flowering them. I just wonder if I have a decent amount of light. Right now I have 6 85watt CFLs 6500K temp 4200 lumens apiece. So thats about 25k lumens for my veg room. And then I have 10 85watt 3000k temp 4200 lumen CFLs for my flowering room. I think I only will veg 2 plans at a time and I plan on flowering 4-6 plants at a time. Just want to know from people that have experience. BTW this is my first time any tips would be appreciated

This plant was flowered at 15 days old and only 4 inches tall, with 4 nodes... THe pictures are of theplant at 19 days old and HARVEST... The plant was only vegged for 14 or 15 days!!!!

There is no reason to grow a plant to 2 or 3 feet tall unless you have massive amounts of light... This grow was done using ONLY 43 watt CFLS (150 watt equivelants)...

You can take clones from the bottom of your plants around the 7th - 14th day of flowering and the clones will be fine...

This method optimizes harvest times...

There will be a book coming out written by SeeMoreBuds in November detailing this exact grow..

hello GK...always admired your sensible advice. I see you have done something here that I am embarking upon - namely the 43W CFLs - I'll be working with a maximum of 6 plants and feel comfortable with the potential for all that I have read.

BTW - How is that book coming along - you make reference to November? All the best...

I would if I had NO choice...

I saw a grow picture recently, on the site of some incredible plants grown with ENVIROLIGHTS.... the photos were awespome.. it was some guy from france (?)..

If you can get ONE of these monster lights.. I suspect, your yield will benefit greatly

now the big question...

gk you still use cfls even after making the book?
