Adjusting Sun Blaze T5 fixture hanging wires?

I just set up a small GrowLab tent GLCL and am going to use it for Clones and Veg.
I've got a Sun Blaze T5 4x4' that is a perfect fit for this small tent, but the braided wire loop for suspending the T5 fixture are a bit too long, and once I clip on the carabiners, the whole T5 fixture can only be ratcheted up to the midway point in the tent. If the wire loops were adjusted or shortened the T5 could be hoisted all the way up to the top.

Has anyone taken the Sun System T5 fixtures apart, and is there a way to adjust or shorten the braided wire suspension loops?

I received an email from the folks at Greners, and was told that the hanging wires can be adjusted, but it's a bit laborious. This particular brand light fixture uses a thin braided wire that's anchored thru two bolts on each end of the light. Each bolt has a small hole that the braided wire runs thru, the length of the wire is limited by a small crimpable barrel sleeve. If you want to adjust the length of the wire, you need to get some crimpable sleeves and readjust to the desired length and crimp. Make sure you practice the crimping process so that the sleeve will hold. I used to fish a lot when I lived in Hawaii, so wire crimps/tools are the same as used on game fish.
