adjustments made during 12/12?

Goodmorning. I would like to make some adjustments with my inline fan and ventilation (too many tight turns after moving light up). however, i am exactly at 14 days into 12/12 cycle. obviously i don't want to mess with the dark period, so im guessing my best option is to shut everything off during during the "daytime." so i would basically be giving my plants 12 hours of partial darkness and then 12 hours of complete darkness for a day. would this affect anything. ive never had to make such adjustments mid grow like this. sorry if i didnt word things very good,...im just waking up. thank you. i could ride it out probably, but i dont like when my temps are sticking around 79-80 degrees F. i think i should have posted this in the design and setup forum. my bad. if an administrator wants to move it there, thats cool.

I would do this:

When the lights come on take the plants out of the tent and set them out of the way. Let them get whatever light is available to keep their cycle on time.

Fix what needs fixing before lights off and get the plants back in there.

i appreciate that advice. i would go that route but my plants are all tied up in a scrog (more of a trellis support screen), so i cant move them out. i could, but it would be a major job. im thinking i might just ride things out. i dropped my home air conditioner down one degree and my tent dropped down to 75 degrees, so I guess things are ok. i just get nervous every time i look at how tight the turns are. i feel like im just waiting for something to tear. i know im losing a lot of cfm, im sure. but i've seen some of your posts and i trust your advice not to screw with the 12/12 cycle. thanks again. can i ramble on and on or what ha

When lights are on open the tent & fix your shit before lights off. Done.

Just don't fuck with the dark cycle & she'll be fine.

that would be fine advice and would obviously do that, but im not going to leave my hps light on while im disconnecting the fan and ducting.

Turn it off.

thats what i was assuming would be the best option, thank you for some confirmation on that. i'll probably wait till the third week to do it, as the two week mark, things are still going to be pretty sensitive to be messing around like that
