Advanced nutrients connoisseur A+B with aptus additives? Anyone try it yet?

I just finished a grow using House and Garden base nutrients with the full Aptus line. Things went... OK. This was my first time using Aptus. Ive always ran the grand master feeding schedule of advanced nutrients and I've gotten phenomenal results. Has anyone out there used Aptus before? What base nutrients did you use with the Aptus additives? I really enjoy the clean quality plants Aptus produces. Not to mention the super strong plant structure and tight node spacing. But I just don't see the yield. Any input?

From the APTUS website concerning their BloomBoost:

Tips from the field
  • BloomBoost may be used at a slightly higher dose for even better results. Some growers have reported good results from double recommended dosage through the bloom cycle.
  • Do not keep BloomBoost in your reservoir for more than 2-3 days in order to avoid biofilm buildup and blockage of irrigation drip lines.

Just by that jargon, it should tell you something. It's not the Base nutes causing so-so results, it's the Aptus. Why not take a simpler strategy and use a simple, complete base?

Aptus is really good shit. But remember that Aptus amendments are 100% organic.

I wouldnt use H&G base nutrients with those additives. I would use H&G Bio1 which is there organic line if u want to go organic.

I wouldnt try and use strictly a synthetic base with organics additives that not really what they are ideally meant for. Ive seen some really good results using botanicare pure blend series with aptus amendments. They get expensive but they do produce very good quality and yields.

Your not gonna see huge yields w Aptus because its all organic. Thats what ppl dont seem to understand, if u want quality & yield you need synthetic nutrients which is why ur gonna get better results w Advanced over Aptus and h&g bases.

Aptus products are well made and Ive seen some really good grows using it with Botanicare. But at the end of the day its organic so keep that in mind.
