Advanced Nutrients new website and products

Your probably all going to think im some type of AN lobbyist lol, but im just excited to see this, and I wanted to share it with all you guys.

Just checked out AN's website, and its got a very nice make over. Much sleeker look now. Also, a huge amount of information is now available about their PH / PPM perfect system. Also they updated theyre nutrient calculator and its currently up to date with the new system that will be coming out.

The bundles that weve heard about (hobbyist, professional, etc.) are now in their products section, and are available for pre-order (or atleast according to the website). Also said you could contact local stores to pre-order, so I think its safe to assume that this stuff is getting ready to hit the doors.

Im pumped as shit, cant wait to see how this stuff does. If it fails I think AN is screwed, but hopefully it wont come down to that =P

Just wanted to share guys. Hope you enjoy the info as much as I am :mrgreen:

Yea lol, I use chrome too. Actually theirs two different browsers open right now cause im reading this massive 42 page document/propaganda they released lol. The old website was the same way though.

EDIT: One thing that confuses me is that when you add a bundle, you dont decrease the amount of nutrients you add from the previous bundle. Also theirs no "light" feeding option on this new calculator. Wonder if people are gona have nute burn problems with this system? Guess well have to wait and see heh.

I wish them well. There's no reason not to post this thread. AN is a fine company. Overpriced, but then again, everything connected to weed is overpriced. If their products didn't work, no one would be buying them, let alone making AN grow by leaps and bounds.


That being said... let me be the first...

It would be nice to get paid to be a troll though :D lol. I spend enough time on here and grasscity to raise a young child :shock:

Still reading that massive document lol. Now im starting to wonder about the price of these bundles, ugh. I know its not going to be pretty lol, but surely it couldnt be too much higher than what they already have. They did combine alot of their products, which is cool, because buying 30 products for your grow is just retarded.

Im just glad that, unlike their previous system, you can simply buy the hobbyist bundle and the basic nutes, and thats all you need. The calculator actually gives you that option. After that I can add one bundle at a time, and evaluate weather or not their worth the price.

LOL, yea, I actually just started posting on here a few weeks ago. The only reason I troll so much is because those two sites are where I do all my research and such. I studied on here and grasscity for about 10 months before I even started my first grow, and just never really got out of the habit of browsing the forums *shrug*

By far the site I browse the most is shroomery, but since that doesnt have alot to do with pot I didnt bring it up =)

Usually at least on this forum... trolling has a bad connotation attached to it. "Lurking" might be more accurate....which is perfectly fine....there are always more guests than members here.

I commend your doing so much research before you grew. Nice......

Yea, these websites have been such a great source of information, and I always found them more informative than books. They really are such a great asset to the pot growing community. My favorite when I first started was overgrow but they shut down a little bit after I started my first grow.

EDIT: Dont bother reading the 147 page document thats on AN's website unless you have nothing better to waste your time on. Its really just their product descriptions drawn out in a long boring manner (trust me, Ive read it all now). Unless ofcourse your into that type of thing. Apparently AN is coming out with some new growing equipment too, some trimmers, some new growing medium they developed with jiffy, a hanging tent to dry your pot (lol), co2 generators, water run AC's, inline fans and ballast. These were all located in their products section too, so the magazine isnt really necessary.

Wow - I really like the Advanced Nutrients site now. It's a lot easier to navigate and a lot more fun to look at. I know, I know, it's the nutes that matter, not the flashy design.

But I like the flashy design too.

I haven't had a chance to read the document that you guys are talking about, but I just found the new site the other day. And of course people are already whining about the fact that a business website is trying to sell products.

Really? Um, all business websites sell their products. That's how they make money, ya know.

I don't really care what anyone does for their marketing. I just care that their products work - and Advanced Nutrients works for me. Seems like the new calculator might be something to look at in more detail. Definitely easy to use, as usual.

(Also, a lot of sites don't work on Chrome guys. Google's just being a tool about their browser right now. Hotmail doesn't work on it either. Nor do Google documents. Blame the Chrome problems on Google. Low to blame the website....IMHO)

Well heres my slam on AN.

I contacted advanced nutrients online about the new bundles, and apparently theyre not gona be released until 2 months from now. Retarded that they would put it in their product listing that soon =P Atleast imo.

It's all marketing. They want you to read up and get hyped first. Look what game companies do. They will hype a game up to 1 year before release. Get you all stoked . Far from retarded. I see many peeps on line here chomping at the bit to try this new PH-PPM.

Hell yea! That thing has an ethernet or comm port connection. 7 year warranty! Scenario: Smart grid detects 2 ea 1000 watt devices in your home that come on for 12 hour durations starting at 08:00 Hmmm might be a grow . Solution: fire them up initially at 600 and have them alternately increase and decrease throughout the 12 hour day. A programmable ballast to defeat the man!!
