Advanced Nutrients Overdrive VS. Atomi Bloombastic

well I've decided to start a thread. this thread will be about AN overdrive vs. Atomi's new Bloombastic product (which I've been told that they are gettin 3 lbs per 1k watt so thought that I'd do a test all of the plants basic nutrients will be from advanced nutrients but in weeks 4-6 i will be using overdrive on half of the plants and bloombastic on the other half here are some pics of them now. let me know what you think

oh bye the way the strains are hash plant and romulan diesel the two little ones are grandaddy purple and purple kush. They are 11 days into flower. I have used bud blood, big bud and carbo load along with sensi a and b bloom

thanks man just picked up some scorpion juice and some voodoo juice as well so we shall see what happens now

I recently start using AN.

I'm running the sensi 2-part with voodoo juice for veg (& hygrozyme)

Its nice to know what products are given us Joes the run for the money.

Im mean i know they gotta be worth it, but do i really have to buy intoALL their products.

lol. i guess i will find out.

no kidding right..I just happend to be lucky enough to get a sample of the Bloombastic as I was told its not out to destributors yet on the west coast. but is available in europe and the eastcoast, why I dunno lol. They also said that one 1000ml bottle of the stuff went on ebay for $1000.. how much hype that is I dont know so I figure why not try it if its soo bad ass right well we shall see.... we shall see

isn't it amazing how many products they have? So many to choose from right. I decided to only go with the bud blood,carbo load, big bud, scorpion juice and now get to use the voodoo juice. the real test will be between the two acclaimed weight gainers. I cant wait I just wish that I had a time machine to warp ahead lol but we will know within 6 1/2 more weeks the final results and then we can all decide for ourselves which will reign supreme haha

and then their is that connessouir garbage..makes me wanna buy it....

lol as if like what they put in our less expensive bottles isn't any good. haha they even go suave and put a lil smoke picture on it to make it sophistocated.. but damn the advertisment I WANT SOME... reallly I do next time

actually, if you look at their nutrient calculator, they all use the same additives no matter what the base nutes are..

I personally did a little research and seems to me like its alot of repetitive nutrients.

For example tarantula or pirhana (i dont remember) is a "compliment" to voodoo juice.

im on a budget.....lol

Everythjing is alot of bacteria,good fungus, etc.

So i figure basic nutes, something for the roots and something for the immune system...
Everything else can wait for experimentation later.

flowering = another ball game

AV is good but be careful with what you use. Their factory is in my home town and I know people who have worked there.

Bud Blood is good to initiate flowering faster, but I didnt use it and I had buds in 10 days not the normal 21 days in my grow.


AV is good but dont buy into the hype. Voodoo, parahna and scorpion just replicate the microbacteria in dirt grows. You can use GH subculture to replace all 3.

I use Promix HP. For flowering I use the Sensi 2 part Bloom. The 2 part bloom is Great because if you can adjust how much N vs PK you want.

I also use carbo load, B-52 every other feeding for micro deficiencies, Gotta have the Big Bud, and I use Hygrozyme a few times during flower. I finish of flowering with Overdrive then Final Faze for the last week.

Im thinking of grabing a bottle of the Mother Earth Bloom Tea for micro deficiencies as well, its good stuff.


Dont use all the products the calculator says. Educate yourself and use what you need. Find out what each product does and why you would need it. A lot of their "suggestions" contradict themselves.

ohh yeah forgot to add the mothe earth tea yes BC it is good stuff and as far as the sub culture did yo notice that it now comes in two diff kinds we used to buy just plain ol subculture now one is the basillius and one is the mycorrizahe or however you spell it. just thought that was wierd.

damn..you almost have all the products, might as well use the tarantula, voodoo,etc.

haha i will next time when I can afford them all but this time went just for the main attack and keep buying more as I go along... my attempt is to get 2 p's a light and I wont stop till I'm there the next thing to add is Co2 and i'm already 75% there all I need now is a cap ppm3 controller to controll Co2 ppm inside I LOVE IT ALL haha

They are trying to keep up with AN so they came out with 2 products that used to be in one bottle. Thats what AN does, If they can turn one product into 2 or 3 or 4 thats what they do. In some cases its better because it gives your more options, but I definitely do not use all their products.

The sensi AB for every feed and big bud is enough. But I like to add carbo load, B-52 and the others for micro deficiencies and fattening them up.

By not buying Voodoo, tarantula, and pirahna, I can cut my nute bill in less then HALF. That stuff is all hype, half of it occurs naturally in soil.

My local hydro shop has it. It sells for like 209.99 per quart but they are saying the same things you are..

where about are ya from on the west coast? that would be cool. yeah the hype is up but I dunno i sure cant wait to find out
