Advantages of collecting seeds long before growing

Hi, i'm thinking about collecting seeds well before growing, i'm still living with parents and they won't let me grow so I think I might just start collecting seeds so when it comes to moving out and having the freedom to grow i'll be able to breed with dozens of strains i've collected and it'll save me from buying them ever again. I also get quite a lot of money for my age so money isn't a problem for me i'm 19 by the way not a little kid as you get them on here, i'll probably just spend 20% of my money a month on seeds. I just think of all these strains you could make and makes me wonder why these seed banks never make them like purple cheese, purple lights, cheese flash, and so on I think I could go on forever lol. By the way I do have quite a lot of experience in growing i've done it in my brothers house but I stopped because he didn't keep his trap shut when he had friends down and I don't trust anyone not even my own brother now.

id say .. grab try to stick to regular seeds.. so u can eventually brreed and make ur own crosses.. .. fem tend to hermi.. if u watch strain hunters.. a little indian guy says feminized seeds the males they are no good... aryan says.. 100 % feminized seeds.. and then a minute later.. goes.. wow its really loaded with seeds eh.. ..... like shit.. fucking hermied like a motherfucker on this guy now he has all green house genetics.. haha with seeds.. its like aryan is trying to spread shitty hermi genetics to fuck everyone into not having sinsemilla and then he and a few others will have the only good genetics around.. and he gives his shity hermi fem seeds to all the places were they went strain hunting. and his hermi pollen is fucking up the landraces.. so no1 will be able to get the real landraces and make ur own strains.. its a very fuckin fucked industry . cause no matter wat seeds u buy.. they could say .. its a LANDRACE.. but its not ... landraces are there bread and butter.. how they make strains.. and new strains.. and crosses.. they are hoarded in the industry.. its so screwed up... but hey wat do i know????

i say ur 19 .. grab some shit u like on attitude.. go with a reputable breeder.. and stay regular seed.. would not waste ur money on anything more then 100 bucks for 10 seeds.. there are plenty of good seeds for less then 100 bucks for 10 reg seeds that are amazing strains..

doesnt matter if u use fems or regs (dont listen to anyone that says different).

i personally would collect bagseeds and work from that. anyone can buy some beans from a breeder and breed but i think it'll be better on your wallet and you'll be happier in the end if you stock up a large collection of bagseed and develop your OWN strain. it'll be far more rewarding and if you happen to come across something really special you can market your own strain.

if you're serious about breeding of course.

developing your own strain is FAR more valuable and marketable than just living off the work of others or reworking their strains.

not to say you shouldnt do it but genetics are expensive and bagseeds are...well...free.

whenever you buy bud and find a few beans in it...keep it...stash it. you wanna keep your beans in a cool/dark/dry place. if you keep them in a cool/dark/dry place they can last for 20+ years easily.

Thanks live2gro I was thinking to just go all regular and thanks for telling me about green houses seeds I never knew a lot of there plants was hermie but I have bought from them before and none of there seeds germed, every other seed i've bought from other seed banks i've had 100% germ rate with even low budget nirvana and seedsman.

Thanks for your advice themanwiththeplan but to be honest where I live it is extremely rare to find seeds in your bags of weed, the last time I found a couple of seeds was about 2 and a half years ago which I grew the seeds along with some white widows and they turned hermie. I'd love to be able to cross bag seeds to have unknown genetics and see how it turns out. If I do ever come across some i'll save them but if I was to grow them i'll probably just breed them under cfl's in a small area just incase they go hermie. And by the way I AM 19 for those of you who don't believe me just because I mention I still live with parents it doesn't mean i'm like 15 or 16.
