Hi Fellow Green Fingers,
I would really appreciate your advice on some issues/questions i'm having on a grow.
I got a seed from a friend said it was a haze strain (promised it was a female one). I germinated it fine and then put it in a large pot and used Tomorite (as per label) and obviously water. I let it veg in the summer and didn't change much in it's routine (apart from more water and increased nute strength, as it was vegging well and all was fine). Then I noticed the female pistils. During the past 2 weeks it grew to a size it did not look inconspicuous in my garden and I had to move it. Only place is my bedroom, It seems to be in the flowering stage and I have it near my window where it gets some 'decent' (but I think not enough light) as I'm in UK. I have hung 1 70W 2700k CFL bulb and a 11W CFL to help as well. I know it's not ideal but it's all i got at the moment and really want to get a decent smoke off it after the effort i put in looking after it, I can accept I'll have to expect a low yield cos of lack of light. I have noticed that some of the veins on the leaf stems (the main stem is a nice green) have a line of a purplish/blue hue on them. My questions are:
1 - Is the purplish/blue hue on the leaf stems an indication of problems or normal? Why does it change?
2 - I tied some branches when it was outdoors to expose more bud sites, is it wise to keep them tied or release them now seeing it's not outside any more and cannot access 'proper full' sunlight?
3 - In the pics you can see the leaves going really weird, some point up some down and some up/down/up etc. Very weird, can someone advise please?
4 - What hours to total darkness should I give the plant giving it's size (I think it has been flowering for around 2wks).
5 - I fed some banana puree (mixed with water) to the plant and buried the skins in the soil (read on the net it helps flowering). Is this correct.
6 - In terms of watering...I check with a thin wooden stake about half way down the pot if dry water. or should I be doing the 2inc check? Just paranoid about root rot..
It's my only plant and I don't want it to be a total failure after the effort (plus no toke then!).

Thanks peeps..
